I hope this post will inspire you again to start your engines right now. Okay dont really picture it because think of it as putting your heart and soul to keep on improving.

SIBF.
Yes everyone should know what it is by now. If you're now showing a blank face with a big big big question mark on it, I suggest you take something heavy and smack it on your head.

Tomorrow will officially be the start of our journey to SIBF. I know I keep emphasizing on it but there's a reason why.

Once again, the parts are more or less finalized. Start score studying right now and work on it. Keep reminding yourself that you can do it. Because I know you can. If not, then why would Mr Wong put you to be that player? Because he knows you can do it and he believes in you. Keep on striving harder to improve your playing. Whenever things mess up, dont panick! Or else everything will turn to HAYWIRE. If you think you played not up to standard or if anyone criticised you on your playing and you fall, pick yourself up quickly and prove them wrong. But of course you have to do something also la to prove them wrong. Not just by saying. But by doing. It just means nothing if you just say it. But it means a lot if you do what you have said. Dont wait for people to give you countless of reminders. Be initiative! You are seniors so you should start thinking maturedly like a young adult. I've shared my experience in band and how I've grown. You guys should be thankful that we Sec. 4s are loyal to the section. We do our very best to help you in everyway. UNlike in the past. We had to learn almost everything by ourselves. That's more challenging but in spite of it, we took the challenge and we successfully overcome it. You have to be brave to take these challenges that will come your way throughout your journey to SIBF. It will be tough but it will be for a good cause. Work real hard and get a good medal for it. I cannot explain and describe the feeling of having to achieve a good medal for a competition. It's so amazing. It's awesome and the feeling's great. I know you guys wanna have that sense of feeling too but you must work hard for it. You have to do something to achieve something. Even a baby has to crawl to reach for his/her toys so that he/she can play with the toys. Same like us. We have to practice and practice, work smart to achieve a good medal for the competition. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE YOURSELF. Because you are there for a purpose. Take your parts seriously. Every part is utterly important. If not, then why would the composer add in that part right?? If he/she thinks its not important, he/she would definitely have not compose for that part to be included in that piece. So yeah. I hope you guys understand what I'm saying so far.

So all in all, work hard, help each other out, treat each other like family, encourage each other along the way, motivate and inspire each other in any way and lastly, all the best alright!
